combining a lifetime of favorites:  cooking, gardening, art and good friends

beginning on a dead-end road in rural Vermont, our family encouraged creativity in the woods, gardens and unique social environments of the seventies back-to-the-land movement.

 

travel to central america, greece, the pacific northwest, europe, coastal maine and around north america inspired a love of diverse food and cultures.

 

with a ba in human ecology, Lauren is always thinking about our connections with nature and the larger world.

 

back to her roots, having settled on a seasonal dead-end road in Vermont, at 1700' elev., growing food isn't easy, but the Champlain Valley is local-foodie heaven!
